LAST UPDATE: June 16, 2026
Welcome to Airtm!
This website is operated by Airtm Inc., AirConnect LLC, and its affiliated companies (collectively, and hereafter referred to as “Airtm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Terms of Service.
2. Service Providers.
3. Digital Currency. As used throughout these Terms, “Digital Currency” means USDC, the digital dollar issued by Circle Internet Financial, LLC. You acknowledge that Airtm accounts are denominated in USDC and that you have sufficient knowledge and understanding of the function of USDC as a means of payment and, in particular, the manner in which USDC may be held and transferred. You further acknowledge that the value of USDC may fluctuate from time to time. Airtm cannot and will not provide any advice or recommendations to you regarding your use of USDC. Further information on USDC can be viewed in Circle’s White Paper available here.
4. Regulatory. Airtm holds a Money Service Business certification from the United States Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), and our registration number is 31000329787639 (link to register).
AirConnect LLC is a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) registered under No. 82 dated September 20, 2023 in the Registry of Virtual Asset Service Providers of the Argentinian Securities Commission. This registration is for the purpose of control as Obliged Entity before the Financial Information Unit (FIU) and any other regulatory entity empowered for such purpose, within the framework of its competences, and does not imply license or supervision by the Argentinian Securities and Exchange Commission over the activity carried out by the VASP.
5. Eligibility.
6. Risk Disclosures.
You acknowledge that you understand the inherent risks associated with using cryptographic and blockchain-based systems, and that you have a working knowledge of the usage and intricacies of digital assets. You further understand that (1) the markets for these digital assets are highly volatile due to factors including (but not limited to) adoption, speculation, technology, security, changes in regulation and/or legislation (which may adversely affect the use, transfer, exchange and/or value of digital assets), and changes in liquidity (such as (a) whether there is a continued market for the exchange of fiat currency for digital assets, the loss of which could result in the total and permanent loss of the value of a digital asset, and (b) whether a digital asset is or continues to be accepted by one or more digital asset service providers or other persons), (2) extreme price volatility and unpredictability relative to fiat currencies could result in a total loss of the value of any digital asset in a short period of time, and (3) accordingly you should exercise extreme caution with respect to digital assets. You acknowledge that the cost and speed of transacting with cryptographic and blockchain-based systems such as Stellar are variable and may increase dramatically at any time, and that digital assets transactions are generally considered executed only when registered and confirmed by the relevant digital assets platform, which may not necessarily coincide with the moment in which you initiate a transaction. You further acknowledge that any such transaction may be irreversible and therefore losses due to fraudulent or accidental transactions may not be recoverable. You further acknowledge that the nature of digital assets exposes them to risks of fraud and cyber-attack, that the loss or theft of private keys may result in the total loss of access to digital assets with no possibility of recovery, that the networks on which digital assets depend may face interruptions or congestion due to technical problems, cyber-attacks or other factors, and that any technological difficulties experienced by Airtm or Service Providers may mean you may not be able to access Digital Currency. You further acknowledge the risk that your digital assets may lose some or all of their value while they are lent through the applicable protocol. You further acknowledge that we are not responsible for any of these variables or risks, and cannot be held liable for any resulting losses that you experience while accessing or using the Services. Accordingly, you understand and agree to assume full responsibility for all of the risks of accessing and using the Services and interacting with the applicable protocol.
Users in Argentina further acknowledge the following risks: (1) digital assets are not covered by the Ley de Mercado de Capitales No. 26.831 (B.O. 28-12-12, as amended), unless within the definition of marketable securities under Article 2 thereof, and are not within the powers granted to the Comisión Nacional de Valores (“CNV”) by Ley No. 27.739 (B.O. 15-3-24), and that therefore the offer documents or product information provided by their issuer will not have been subject to review or approval by the CNV or other regulatory agency in Argentina (if applicable); and (2) digital assets are not legal tender in Argentina and therefore are not issued or backed by the government or national authorities.
7. The Airtm Services.
We may work with one or more third-party service providers to access this Third-Party Account Information. We will use this information to provide you with the Services you request, for our own internal business purposes and to offer you other products and services that may be of interest to you. By requesting an account link, you authorize us to access this information maintained by identified third parties, on your behalf as your agent, and you expressly authorize such third parties to disclose your information to us. You also agree that you are responsible for keeping any passwords and Usernames you provide to us so we can retrieve this Third-Party Account Information secure, and for keeping those passwords and Usernames up to date in the Services. We do not review the Third-Party Account Information for accuracy, legality, or non-infringement, and we are not responsible for your Third-Party Account Information or products and services offered by or on third-party sites. You acknowledge that any Third-Party Account Information that is displayed through the Services will be the information we most recently accessed, and that this information may not reflect pending transactions or other recent activity. Any transfer between your Account and External Account are governed by the Service Provider Terms. Certain transaction limitations may apply to the External Account transfers.
You may send fiat currency from a third-party account or wallet (“External Account”) and receive funds in your Account through the services offered by Service Providers, Unaffiliated Payment Platforms or other eligible third-party account providers (“Third Party Providers”), as determined by Airtm in its sole discretion (Service Providers and Third Party Providers together “Providers”). Providers may require you to create an account through their respective platforms. Subject to a Provider’s Terms and these Terms, you may, through the Service, exchange the fiat currency deposited in your External Account to Digital Currency (to the extent Digital Currency credited in your Account is collectable and settled) or to convert any Digital Currency deposited in your Account to fiat currency, withdrawing it to your External Account. Subject to any applicable Provider’s Terms and these Terms, you may remit any Digital Currency deposited in your Account to your External Account (provided the Provider holding such account supports transfers in the currency you desire to remit), you may remit any Digital Currency deposited in your Account to another User’s Account or you may remit any Digital Currency deposited in your Account to any digital wallet you link to your Account or otherwise notified to us. s. Your use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and the Service Providers’ Terms. When funding your Account, you authorize Providers, us or any of such party’s respective payment processors to debit your External Account and credit your Account according to your instructions as provided by you via our Services (and to the extent funds are not received, returned, reversed, or charged back from your External Account but are made available in your Account, you authorize Providers, us or any of such party’s respective payment processors to debit your End User Account for such funds made available to you). When transferring funds or Digital Currency out of your Account, you also authorize Service Providers to debit your Account and credit your External Account or any other digital wallet or account you provide to us according to your instructions as provided by you via our Services. Transfer times are not guaranteed in any way.
We may not grant a security interest in the Digital Currency in your Account (although we do not represent that it is free of security interests, other liens or encumbrances). Except as required by law, we will not sell, transfer, loan, hypothecate, or otherwise alienate the Digital Currency in your Account unless (i) instructed by you, and (ii) permitted by law.
We do not have custody of your funds up until the point they arrive on our platform, and from the point they leave our platform. At all other times (including as an intermediate step during add and withdrawal activity) they may be held or controlled by Service Providers, for whom Airtm is not responsible, and against whom it is possible neither we nor you will have recourse (including in the event of a Service Provider insolvency).
If you choose to access the Blend Protocol through our platform, the three preceding paragraphs are subject to Annex III (Blend Protocol Access).
Nothing in these provisions shall affect Airtm’s right to set-off funds that you owe to Airtm against funds held in your Account.
8. Charges and Rates. You understand that use of the Services may result in charges to you for the services you receive from Airtm or one of its Service Providers (“Charges”). Any Charges will be displayed before you initiate a service request and if the service request is approved by you, the Charges will be deducted directly from your Account or Linked Account. Any Airtm Charges paid by you are final and non-refundable, unless otherwise determined by Airtm. Airtm reserves the right to establish, remove and/or revise Airtm Charges for specific service requests in its sole discretion. Airtm may from time to time provide certain Users with promotional offers and discounts that may result in different amounts charged for the same or similar service requests, and you agree that such promotional offers and discounts, unless also made available to you, shall have no bearing on your use of the Services or the Airtm Charges applied to you. Service Providers may assess Charges for their services pursuant to Service Provider Terms. Airtm does not determine any Service Provider Charges.
Airtm’s rates are based on a range of factors, including customer demand and the wholesale rates available to Airtm through its banking service providers. This means that our rates are subject to change and may go up or down at any time, or may be withdrawn. Please log-in to your Airtm account to confirm our currently available rates and withdrawal methods.
9. Chargebacks. In addition to the Charges described above, you understand and agree that you are responsible for any fees, costs, expenses, losses, charges and the like (collectively, “Chargebacks”) incurred by Airtm or Service Providers as a result of transactions you initiated and that were reversed, failed, were fraudulent or resulted in errors when processed. You also understand that you may be subject to Chargebacks by Service Providers for transactions you initiated and understand and agree that such Chargebacks by Service Providers are your sole responsibility.
Unless such transfer is otherwise prohibited (i) under the law, including but not limited to applicable sanctions programs, or (ii) by a facially valid subpoena or court order, Airtm will instruct Service Providers to use reasonable effort to transfer the funds in legal tender as soon as possible after receiving such a request; however, each Airtm and Service Providers has the right to hold the funds for such time period, as either such party reasonably determines, is necessary to address any potential Chargebacks or regulatory or legal issue relating to the funds or transactions executed from the User account.
You acknowledge that Airtm may offer access to Unaffiliated Payment Platforms as a deposit method. You understand that regarding these specific methods, Airtm’s ability to dispute or resolve chargebacks or reversals may be limited. Consequently, you agree that any chargeback or reversal initiated through such third-party platforms will be your sole responsibility, and Airtm reserves the right to immediately debit your Account for the full amount plus any associated penalties without prior notice.
10. Promotions Programs. Airtm may run promotional offers and programs from time to time (“Airtm Promotions”). You understand and agree that Airtm may establish, in its absolute discretion, terms and conditions, including eligibility, for Airtm Promotions, and may change or terminate the Airtm Promotions at any time, with or without notice. Your participation in Airtm Promotions is prohibited where void by applicable law or regulation.

Airtm is required by law to give you certain information in writing. This means you have the right to receive that information physically, on paper. With your consent, we will send that information to you electronically, instead, in accordance with the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (“E-Sign Act”). By consenting to this Electronic Communication and E-Sign Agreement, you consent to receive Communications in electronic form for any Airtm products, services, and accounts that you apply for or obtain, either now or in the future. You also consent to the use of electronic signatures in your relationship with Airtm and to enter into electronic transactions with Airtm. “Communications” includes each disclosure, notice, agreement, Privacy Policy, statement, record, document, and other information that may be required or is otherwise provided during the business relationship between you and Airtm. All capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning set forth in the Terms of Service.
2 Delivery.
Electronic Communications may be posted on the Airtm website or mobile application and/or delivered to the email address you provided to us. We may also deliver Communications to you in the manner specified in any other agreement we have with you. It is your responsibility to keep current your contact information associated with your account so that we can send you electronic Communications. You can update your email address and other contact information from your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. We reserve the right to provide Communications in paper form.
3 Withdrawal of Consent.
You have the right to withdraw your consent to receive electronic Communications. If you withdraw your consent, we may terminate your User Account and related services. To withdraw your consent, please contact us at [email protected].
4 Physical Documentation.
You will have the right to request any Communications covered by this Agreement in physical, paper form. To receive a paper copy of any document that has been previously provided to you, please contact customer service at [email protected]. We will charge you $10 per page for requesting paper documents. Future Communications will continue to be delivered electronically unless you withdraw your consent, as described below. We reserve the right to terminate your relationship if we are unable to support certain requests for paper documents or you withdraw your consent provided hereunder.
5 Minimum System Requirements.
To access electronic Communications, you will need certain browser and encryption software that meet these requirements. Airtm’s system requirements are:
(a) A mobile device running Apple iOS 13.0+ + or Android 5.0+ (Lollipop).

Continued use of Airtm electronic services after any such notice signifies your acceptance of the change and reaffirmation of your consent.
6 Consent.
You consent to the electronic delivery of all Communications and to transact with Airtm electronically. You are not permitted to access or use the Service without acceptance of this Agreement. You confirm that you have access to an electronic device that satisfies our minimum system requirements, and that you have access to a printer and/or the ability to download information. Annex I to the Terms of Service – Authorized Payments
This Annex I supplements and forms a part of the Terms of Service. Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms used in this Annex will have the same meaning as those given to them in the Airtm’s Terms of Service.
1.1 You may have the option to make Authorized Payments (“Authorized Payments”) on a pre-specified or custom basis using our Services. If you elect to make Authorized Payments, including designating Airtm as a default payment method via the Integrated Enterprise’s services, you authorize Airtm Inc. (“Airtm”) and its Advanced Users or Service Providers, to initiate pre-specified or custom payments using digital assets and fiat balances from its account at the Integrated Enterprise website (“Integrated Enterprise Account”) to the accounts designated by you as a payment method (the “Authorized Accounts”) including any collection of fees and charges, if applicable.
Your authorization will remain effective until you change your pre-specified or custom Authorized Payments settings in your account settings and those changes are processed. Changes in your pre-specified or custom Authorized Payments settings may take 1-3 business days to become effective. You agree to keep your payment method updated in your account as long as you have pre-specified or custom Authorized Payments active or scheduled.
1.2 You agree that payment to the Authorized Accounts may be made by an Airtm Advanced User, as defined in Airtm’s Terms of Service, which are incorporated here by reference.
2.1 Payment shall be processed upon request from (i) you or from (ii) the Integrated Enterprise when you set Airtm as your default payment method; and only when payment exceeds the minimum of 5 USDC. Airtm will (i) interface with Airtm Advanced Users or Service Providers to send payments to the Authorized Accounts and will (ii) debit your Airtm account (or Service Provider Account) upon confirmation from the Airtm Advanced User or Service Provider that the payment has been sent. Airtm will reasonably attempt to execute your custom Authorized Payment in accordance with instructions but transaction times may vary and execution of your custom Authorized Payment is not guaranteed. You acknowledge that the amount of any Digital Asset you send in each pre-specified or custom Authorized Payment will depend on the market price at the time of execution. While we will attempt to fulfill custom Authorized Payment at the prevailing market price at the time the custom Authorized Payment is triggered, there is no guarantee that the transaction will be processed immediately after it is triggered, at any particular price, or at all.
2.2 You are responsible for checking that payment has been correctly processed and received in the Authorized Accounts. Airtm is not responsible for any returns, chargebacks, or other fees charged by Advanced Users, Service Providers or the payment method of your Authorized Account.
2.3 You are responsible for providing all necessary and accurate information related to your identity and the Authorized Accounts. You understand that Airtm may request documents to verify your identity prior to using the services described herein. Airtm does not assume responsibility or liability for delays in service caused by differences in the information and payment data or changes which are not received within the time frames or in the format necessary to properly carry out its responsibilities. You warrant that all data delivered to Airtm (a) will contain true and accurate information, (b) will be fully authorized by you, and (c) will be timely under the terms and provisions of this Agreement. Airtm has no responsibility to check such data in any manner, including accuracy, consistency and conformity to prior Authorized Account data. You shall make periodic checks to assure that the Authorized Account data is current and accurate at all times.

Annex II to the Terms of Service – Prepaid Card Services
This Annex II supplements and forms a part of the Terms of Service. Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms used in this Annex will have the same meaning as those given to them in the Airtm’s Terms of Service.
With our prepaid card services, you can load a supported prepaid card with funds by making a transfer from your Account, and spend in the same way as a traditional debit card – up to the amount you have loaded onto the prepaid card. Supported prepaid cards may exist in virtual or physical form and are available only to Users in limited jurisdictions. Fees may be charged by Airtm for transfers from your Account that are made to fund a prepaid card.
You are responsible for ensuring you have sufficient funds for all transactions attempted using our supported prepaid cards. Airtm is neither the distributor, program manager, nor the issuer of any of the prepaid cards it supports, and Airtm is not a bank, electronic money institution nor a payment services provider. Airtm connects with Service Providers, including Bridge, in order to support transfers to prepaid cards from your Airtm Account. Applicable terms and conditions of those Service Providers shall govern your use of the prepaid card, including any use criteria and usage restrictions or limits on transactions. Users will be notified of any applicable terms and conditions of Service Providers when signing up for prepaid card services and are advised and encouraged to read such terms and conditions carefully in order to understand their rights and obligations vis-a-vis their relationship with the Service Provider. Whilst Airtm may record and display transactions undertaken by you using prepaid cards, Airtm has no direct connection to the payment network or merchant and we cannot stop a transaction once authorised by you.

Annex III – Blend Protocol Access
This Annex III supplements and forms a part of the Terms of Service. Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms used in this Annex will have the same meaning as those given to them in the Airtm’s Terms of Service.
Through our platform, Users may access the Blend Protocol, an open-source decentralized lending and liquidity protocol operating on the Stellar blockchain. This integration enables Users to interact with smart contracts of the Blend Protocol for the purpose of supplying Digital Currency, receiving yields, or participating in protocol-driven mechanisms.
Airtm is not the creator, maintainer, operator, or controller of the Blend Protocol or its underlying smart contracts. The Blend Protocol is governed by autonomous smart contracts that operate independently of Airtm. The protocol was developed by third parties and Airtm has no ability to modify, pause, upgrade, or interfere with the Blend Protocol or any transactions executed on it.
All transactions occur directly between the User and the protocol’s smart contracts on a non-custodial, peer-to-contract basis. Airtm does not hold, safeguard, custody, or take possession of any Digital Currency supplied to the Blend Protocol, and does not act as agent, broker, custodian, intermediary, fiduciary, or advisor.
Should you chose to access the Blend Protocol through the Airtm Platform, you represent and warrant that:
You acknowledge and accept that:
Use of any information provided by Airtm (including educational materials, documentation, blog posts, or social media) is at your own risk. Such content does not constitute investment, legal, or tax advice and should not be relied upon as a basis for any financial decision.
Airtm provides only technical connectivity and does not guarantee continued access to the protocol, which may be modified, disrupted, or disabled without notice.
You assume full responsibility for your use of the Blend Protocol and waive any claim against Airtm arising from or related to such use.

Annex IV to the Terms of Service – Marketplace rules and best practices
Thank you for choosing to be part of the Airtm community!
These rules (“Rules”) are aimed at helping you and our other Users use our Services and be aware of specific rules and best practices applicable to use of our marketplace (as defined below, “Marketplace”). These Rules supplement and form part of our Terms of Service. Accordingly, it is important that you read and familiarize yourself with these Rules prior to using the Marketplace. Capitalized words used in these Rules but not defined here will have the same meaning as those given to them in the Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future Rules, do not use or access (or continue to access) the Marketplace.
The Marketplace consists of all peer-to-peer (“P2P”) transactions facilitated through the Airtm platform. Through the Marketplace, Airtm connects Users with Cashiers (as defined below), who together may transact to exchange off-platform funds and USDC, i.e., to add or withdraw USDC to or from their Airtm accounts. Airtm’s role in the Marketplace is limited to (a) operating the Airtm platform, and (b) facilitating a temporary escrow process. Airtm does not facilitate, and is not a counterparty to, the transfer of off-platform funds between Users and Cashiers; all such transfers take place outside the Airtm platform.
As used in these Rules, “Cashiers” means Users fulfilling certain enhanced criteria (as determined and set by Airtm in its discretion) and assigned permissions to act as User counterparties for certain transactions through the Marketplace (including, in certain circumstances, other Users participating in a direct connection (user-to-user) P2P transaction).
Transactions through the Marketplace
Note that we may sometimes initiate a direct connection (user-to-user) P2P transaction on your behalf, rather than making your transaction available for acceptance by Cashiers. This can happen when your add or withdraw request matches another User’s simultaneous withdraw or add request. When this happens, (a) you will transact with a non-Cashier User as though they were a Cashier, in line with these Rules, and (b) the net exchange rate for your transaction is typically better (due to not paying peer commissions to Cashiers).
Transaction Limits
We may at any time impose limits on the amount, frequency, or type of transactions that a User may initiate and/or accept, including (without limitation) applying minimum and/or maximum transaction amounts, daily or periodic transaction caps, or any other restrictions. Any such restrictions may be applied on an individual User basis, to all Users, or to a specific group or groups of Users. That means any restrictions applied to a specific User may differ from those applied to other Users. We may modify any restrictions at any time, with or without prior notice, and may decline any transaction exceeding applicable limits.
Fees and Commissions
Airtm may charge you fees or commissions, including charging you commissions on behalf of Cashiers, on your transactions through the Marketplace. Before you initiate any transaction, we will clearly show you the applicable fees and commissions so you can decide whether to proceed.
Fees and commissions are displayed in (a) a blended “net exchange rate” (comprising the base or gross exchange rate (between USDC and the currency of your chosen external payment method) and applicable fees and commissions), and (b) a breakdown showing the amount and type of each applicable fee and commission. By choosing to initiate a transaction, you agree to the fees and commissions shown at the time and authorize Airtm to deduct them from your account balance or the transaction amount. All fees are final once a transaction is initiated, unless we tell you otherwise.
Airtm may review and update the fees and commissions charged for use of the Marketplace from time to time, or introduce new types of fees. If we make changes, we will reflect them in the transaction details or otherwise make them available before you proceed with initiating a transaction.
Third-Party Transfers
A third-party transfer occurs when a User attempts to send or receive funds using a payment method or account that is not registered under their own name or contact information.
Example: a User tries to withdraw funds from their Account to a bank account belonging to someone else.
To protect all Users, third-party transactions are generally prohibited unless explicitly allowed by Airtm under the specific conditions set out in these Rules.
When are Third-Party Transfers Allowed?
Third-party transfers are only permitted when:
All other third-party transfers – including adds – are strictly prohibited. Engaging in an unauthorized third-party transfer puts your funds and Account at risk.
Recognizing Third-Party Transfer Attempts
Although these Rules are designed to protect Users, you may encounter counterparties through the Marketplace who try to involve third-party accounts in transactions that are not permitted third-party transfers. It is your responsibility to recognize prohibited third-party transfer attempts and to take appropriate action. Be particularly cautious if:
All of the above are likely indicators of an attempt to make a prohibited third-party transfer.
Avoiding Unauthorized Third-Party Transfer Attempts
If you identify any of the warning signs above (or other, similar indicators of a third-party transfer attempt), you should:
Accepting or initiating unauthorized third-party transfers can expose you to serious risks, including: reversal or reimbursement claims; freezing of funds in your bank account or your Account; and permanent loss of funds involved in the transaction.
Always report attempts to make prohibited third-party transfers – we take yours and other Users’ safety very seriously and will penalize Users who engage in unauthorized third-party transfers.
Mediation is the process through which the Airtm Support Team intervenes to help resolve disputes, inconveniences, or conflicts that may arise during a transaction between Users through the Marketplace.
Initiation of Mediation
Mediation may be initiated when:
In such cases, a member of the Airtm Support Team will be assigned to review the transaction, assess the situation, and facilitate resolution through the mediation process.
Mediation Process
The mediation process consists of three stages:
Our Decision
If the Airtm Support Team identifies that (a) one User failed to comply with the transaction requirements, and/or (b) insufficient evidence has been provided to support a claim, Airtm may decide to cancel the transaction and/or take other appropriate actions in accordance with the Terms of Service. In addition, if we determine that a User engaged in fraud or other conduct prohibited by the Terms of Service and/or applicable law, we may take other further actions as permitted by the Terms of Service and/or applicable law. Any decision by the Airtm Support Team is final and binding (unless otherwise required by applicable law), and in no event shall Airtm assume liability or responsibility for steps and decisions taken in applying the mediation process.
Misuse of the Meditation Process
The following conduct constitutes misuse of the mediation process and is not permitted under the Rules:
Use of the Marketplace involves certain inherent risks. The below outlines certain of those risks – you should make sure that you read and understand these and other risks (including the risks set out elsewhere in the Terms of Service) prior to using the Marketplace. By using the Marketplace, you confirm that you understand those risks and agree that you will assume full responsibility for them.
Airtm’s limited role
Airtm’s role in the Marketplace is limited to (a) operating the Airtm platform, and (b) facilitating a temporary escrow process. Since Airtm does not facilitate, and is not involved in, the transfer of external funds during transactions, Airtm does not guarantee the performance, accuracy, legality, or outcome of any User transaction and is not responsible for any delays, non-settlements, reversals, fees, or fraudulent behaviour through (or other loss or liability arising from use of) external payment methods. Additionally, you should be aware that Airtm does not act as a bank or other custodian for off-platform funds you send, receive or hold in connection with transactions through the Marketplace.
Other Users
By using the Marketplace, you are engaging in transactions directly with other Users. Airtm does not guarantee the identity, reliability, solvency or performance of any User you transact with through the Marketplace. If you have a problem with another User during a transaction through the Marketplace (including if you encounter an attempt to make an unauthorized third-party transfer), you should inform the Airtm Support Team as soon as possible (see “Mediation Procedure” above). Use of the mediation process does not guarantee a favorable outcome.
External Payment Methods
When you or other Users you transact with use third-party payment methods to exchange funds during a transaction initiated through the Marketplace, the applicable terms are the terms (if any) of the relevant external payment provider. Airtm does not control, guarantee, or assume any liability or role in the availability and performance of any such external payment system.
Legal risks
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, tax and other (including contractual) obligations applicable to your transactions through the Marketplace. Airtm does not provide legal, tax or investment advice.
The guidelines below outline some recommended practices for using the Marketplace and are designed to help you use the Marketplace responsibly and securely, and to help ensure a safe, enjoyable and efficient experience for all Users.
Following the steps suggested below can reduce the need for mediation:
Remember: following these Rules and these guidelines helps protect your funds, your Account, and the overall trust of our Marketplace community. If you believe another User has violated these Rules, contact Airtm Support immediately.
Airtm reserves the right to action under these Terms of Service for violations of the Rules and Marketplace best practices.
Airtm implements quality programs for Cashiers and all Users to maintain marketplace quality and to encourage a secure and transparent environment for Users.
For Cashiers
Airtm continuously monitors Cashier performance across recent transactions, and consistent issues may trigger warnings, recommendations, or account restrictions.
Quality is one of Airtm’s core values, so only those Users who meet the necessary standards and pay attention to our quality program recommendations will be able to accept requests from other Users on the platform. Failure to meet the quality program standards for Cashiers (as determined by Airtm in its discretion) may result in a loss of Cashier status.
Our evaluation factors include (without limitation):

For Users
We also evaluate Users’ overall activity on an ongoing basis – excessive cancellations, suspicious activity, or breaches of our Terms of Service may result in temporary or permanent account suspension (or other limitations being placed on a User’s account, as we determine in our discretion).

Annex V to the Terms of Service – Tala Services
This Annex V supplements and forms a part of the Terms of Service. Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms used in this Annex will have the same meaning as those given to them in Airtm’s Terms of Service.
1. The Tala Services.
Through the Airtm App, eligible Users in supported territories may access digital currency credit products offered by TALA GUATEMALA, S.A. and its affiliates (“Tala”) (the “Tala Services”). The Tala Services include the origination, disbursement, servicing and collection of USDC denominated loans (“Credit”) made by Tala directly to Users who elect to become Tala customers (“End-Customers”), in each case pursuant to a separate Digital Currency Credit Agreement entered into between you and Tala. Airtm’s role is limited to providing the technical platform, wallet functionality and payment rails necessary to enable the Tala Services within the Airtm App.
2. Airtm is not a lender.
You acknowledge and agree that Airtm is not a lender, does not provide credit, and is not licensed or authorized to provide credit in any jurisdiction. All Credit is extended solely by Tala, at Tala’s discretion, under the Digital Currency Credit Agreement and other terms and conditions issued by Tala. Airtm does not guarantee the availability, approval, settlement or disbursement of any Credit. Airtm does not make any representation or warranty as to whether you will qualify for, or the terms of, any Credit offered by Tala.

1. INTRODUCTION
Airtm (“us”, “we”, or “our”) uses cookies and other tracking technologies on its website and Apps (“Service”), and this Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we and other third parties use cookies and tracking technologies, your choices regarding cookies and tracking technologies, and further information about cookies and tracking technologies.
2. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small pieces of data, stored in text files, and on your computer or other device when websites are loaded in a browser. They are widely used to “remember” you and your preferences, either for a single visit (through a “session cookie”) or for multiple repeat visits (using a “persistent cookie”). They ensure a consistent and efficient experience for visitors, and perform essential functions such as allowing users to register and remain logged in.
Both websites and HTML emails may also contain other tracking technologies such as “web beacons” or “pixels.” These are typically small transparent images that provide us with statistics, for similar purposes as cookies. They are often used in conjunction with cookies, though they are not stored on your computer in the same way. As a result, if you disable cookies, web beacons may still load, but their functionality will be restricted.
First-party & Third-party Cookies
First-party Cookies are cookies that belong to the Company and that we place on your device; and Third-party Cookies are cookies that another party places on your device through our Site.
Session Cookie
Session Cookies are temporary cookies that are used to remember you during the course of your visit to the website, and they expire when you close the web browser. Once you close the browser, all Session Cookies are deleted.
Persistent Cookies
A Persistent Cookie is a cookie that is stored by the web browser on your device until it expires or you delete it. Persistent Cookies are used to remember your preferences within the website and remain on your desktop or mobile device even after you close your browser or restart your computer. We use these cookies to analyze user behavior to establish visit patterns so that we can improve our website functionality for you and others who visit our website(s). These cookies also allow us to serve you with targeted advertising and measure the effectiveness of our site functionality and advertising.
3. AIRTM’S COOKIES, LOCAL STORAGE AND SESSION STORAGE
Although here at Airtm we don’t use any First Party Cookies, we do use Local Storage and Session Storage. Local and Session Storage are used to store data in the browser and are accessible from the client-side only; this means web servers can’t access them directly.
The main difference between Local and Session storage is that, while Local Storage has no expiration date, Session Storage is cleared when you close the browser tab – hence the name “session”.

4. THIRD PARTY COOKIES
Even if we do not use First Party Cookies, we may use various Third Party cookies to report usage statistics of the Service, deliver advertisements on and through the Service, and so on. You can manage your Third Party Cookies settings through our website or our apps. Please go to Appendix A for the list of our Third Party Cookies.
5. WHAT ARE YOUR OPTIONS REGARDING COOKIES?
Most web browsers let you choose whether to accept cookies, and most also let you delete cookies already set. The choices available, and the mechanism used, will vary from browser to browser. Such browser settings are typically found in the “options”, “tools” or “preferences” menu. You may also consult the browser’s “help” menu.
There are online tools available for clearing all cookies left behind by the websites you have visited, such as www.allaboutcookies.org; and for users in the EEA & UK, https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/.
Most advertising networks offer you a way to opt out of Interest Based Advertising. If you would like to find out more information, please visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or http://www.youronlinechoices.com.
6. OTHER IDENTIFICATION TECHNOLOGIES
In addition to Third Party Cookies, there are other identification technologies we may use or permit on our Services:
